Dynamic San Francisco firm has a growing litigation support team and is looking for an experienced member to add to their department! The position will allow you to work with an experienced team of professionals to help improve litigation support practices for a large and growing firm.
DESCRIPTION:
- Provide operational assistance to attorneys and staff using sophisticated knowledge management systems
- Assist attorneys and paralegals in designing and utilizing technology in all phases of litigation and corporate work
- Provide end-user training and support
- Coordinate third-party vendors providing services such as electronic discovery processing
- Create, manage and maintain sophisticated databases to manage information for complex litigation
- Provide expert consultation to attorneys and staff seeking to streamline information retrieval and delivery systems
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience and training
- 3-5 years of law firm practice support experience, strong client service skills, proactive approach to problem-solving, and solid communication skills
- Database applications, design and maintenance, including data loads
- High familiarity with the litigation process and litigation specific software tools such as Summation, Concordance, CaseMap, Sanction, and LiveNote. Requires proficiency in utilizing Microsoft office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Experience working with vendors on pricing proposals and project management. Knowledge of imaging, scanning, OCR, electronic data production, harvesting of electronic data, and database load files
