Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal

A well-known law firm is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal with intellectual property litigation and ITC experience for their Palo Alto office. This firm specializes in Intellectual Property practice. This position includes reviewing and analyzing discovery requests and matters for the purpose of preparing status reports to attorneys and clients, establishing and organizing pleadings, attorney trial notebooks, expert witness notebooks, document indexes and lists, as well as managing calendars, filings with the courts, e-filing, and scheduling depositions. The ideal candidate has prior experience with document management software systems as well as with large case management, has a complete understanding of a Paralegal’s role in the litigation process, has exceptional organization and attention to detail skills, as well as a minimum of five years of prior litigation experience and completion of a bachelor's degree. Flexibility and the ability to work overtime (10+ hours) are essential, and travel may be needed. The candidate must also be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 20 lbs. and is able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
